Welcome to RF Cox & Son aka RFCSES

The company RF Cox Electrical Services was originally created by Roland Cox in 1972 in Fleet (North East Hampshire), since then he has enjoyed a varied career. He started his apprenticeship with the ministry of defence (NGTE – Farnborough) 1962. During his career with the NGTE he became an apprentice master training many apprentices to become electricians.

His world of experience has taken him & the business abroad to Uganda & back again. With hundreds if not thousands of satisfied customers, contracts & projects in the company’s portfolio both here and abroad. With the creation of RF Cox & Son Electrical Services Ltd (aka RFCSES) in 2007; due to Roland wanting to hand the batten on to his son Paul.

Paul is a very experienced and dedicated electrician. He served his apprenticeship with Southern Electric Contracting 1992-1996 & has had an enormous amount of work in domestic, commercial & industrial environments. He continually undergoes training courses to keep himself abreast of the ever-changing world of electrics & the regulations. With all the necessary qualifications & experience to do the job right.

Doing the job right the first time, every time, is a solid foundation on which RF Cox & Son Electrical Services Ltd has been built. With this in mind, we guarantee our workmanship & that of any subcontractors we use. All the parts we use are of the highest quality & are certified with the British Standard and/or the European Standard.

To keep the feel of the family business RF Cox & Son Electrical Services Ltd only use people who we can trust – to achieve this; the main subcontractors we use are our other family members from Roland’s Brother, Colin, to Paul’s cousins Jamie & Allan. With the wealth of expertise between us we are able to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Although Paul lives in Reading we do cover all of Berkshire & North East Hampshire, providing Part P compliant electricians to maintain compliance with the new laws governing electrical installations in the domestic home. A Part P electrician is someone who is suitably trained, qualified & experienced in carrying out electrical installations, Part P refers to the section in the building regulations that covers electrics. Reputable electricians will belong to a Part P scheme, we are registered with NICEIC. This offers a greater peace of mind to our customers knowing that we are annually inspected to prove that the quality of our workmanship is of the highest standard and that the work is undertaken is compliant with the law.
